The Web has endless possibilities and Vigneshwaran has a flair for it

Mr. Vigneshwaran T, the founder of Nandha Infotech, Tamil Nadu, had an early interest in entrepreneurship. In his college life, he began developing entrepreneurial ideas, and in 2014, he co-founded a web and mobile app development company with a partner. Unfortunately, the partnership ended on bitter terms in 2017. However, he did not give up on his dream and started a new venture under the name Nandha Infotech.

Initially, they faced a hard time as no clients approached them. To overcome this hurdle, they started offering their Point of Sale (POS) application for free to potential customers in the Coimbatore area. Though the supermarkets were not ready to accept the POS application due to the lack of awareness of digitalization, Mr. Vigneshwaran and his team insisted that they use it, and the model of charging 10% of every billing with the POS worked out beautifully. Within a month, they got 60 customers and a minimum of ₹1000 profit per day per customer.

Mr. Vigneshwaran realized the need for skilled professionals. He started a training program for engineering graduates, diploma students, and IT graduates, with an opportunity to work with the same POS machines. They soon discovered that the market for training was huge, as even engineering graduates lacked software knowledge. Thus, they started a technology training division and trained over 1,50,000 students globally in the last nine years. They signed the MOG with over 50 colleges in India and started a faculty development program.

Nandha Infotech ventured into Virtual and Augmented Reality and created India's first motion capture suit related to Agritourism and Gymming. Unfortunately, they got only five sales as such a product was at the wrong time. So, they shifted their focus to MediTech and AgriTech and created an oxygen concentrator for the pandemic, which was approved. They also developed a Negative Pressure Wound Therapy Machine for sugar patients and are getting into Sense Luto, exclusively for soil monitoring systems. They received funding from IIIT Sri City and the Tamil Nadu state government, EDIA, and are in discussion with government agencies to implement it. They recently collaborated with a company called Agri Infotech from the US to create the Agritech market.

Mr. Vigneshwaran believes that leadership skills come from his sports background, where he played Volleyball and curated the team to many championships. He believes that entrepreneurship and sports complement each other and both teach you to handle wins and losses. He also does motivational training for school and college students for their upcoming entrepreneurship journey.

In 2014, when digitalization was still in its early stages, Mr. Vigneshwaran's father encouraged him to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams. As the first graduate in his family, he has a lot of responsibility and wants to set an example for his 16-member joint family. He is not motivated by money but by his passion for his work. Though Nandha Infotech is not making huge turnovers, it has a good reputation in Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Kerala, and Karnataka.

Mr. Vigneshwaran advises his younger self not to hesitate to try something new and create opportunities instead of waiting for them. He believes that success and entrepreneurship are equal and that one should not wait for anyone or any specific time. One should pursue their dreams passionately, and the right environment and aura will follow. He highlights one of his recent initiatives called Skill Radar. This curriculum-based real-time training program uses hands-on training, classroom lectures, and online learning opportunities to teach students essential skills for success in today's job market.
