Here we go with one more heroic trip and one more warrior. It is a pleasure to introduce Shweta Deshmukh. An architect with a master's degree in environmental architecture and construction management.
Shweta has been working since she turned 21. She had a great talent for art drawing in general and for sketches in particular. Her uncle introduced her to the field of architecture. Shweta decided to become an architect when she was in sixth grade. Always passionate about her career, when asked Shweta says she doesn't know what she would do if she weren't an architect.
This go-getting woman with big dreams doesn't have a plan B because her dreams, ambitions, and passion for being an architect have provided her with more positive energy than anything else.
And just like that for her, time flew!
In 2010, Shweta established a business called “Shweta Deshmukh and Associates.” They previously worked on coworking spaces and small multiplex commercial interiors. And in 2014, this fiery entrepreneur was directed to alter her plan by moving online since major corporations like Pepperfry were doing business online.
She conceived DEZINEBOX. What happens next? All issues were handled by Shweta. She began checking off items on her to-do list by creating concepts, and logos, and completing the necessary legal paperwork on her own.
But because of her pregnancy, she wasn't able to do much. After ten years, this joy has finally arrived. One more role was added to her name, which is a god-given heaven that is to become a “Mother.”
But as the saying goes, there is a way for those who have the will. Shweta's husband, the co-founder of the company, took over as her right hand and continued the job with his expertise and knowledge.
And with that, DEZINEBOX has finally been relaunched after a year thanks to this fantastic duo team.
DEZINEBOX is a high-tech startup that expands access to and affordability of architecture and interior design worldwide. In the past three years, their work has been seen in 65 cities and 4 countries. They provide VR glasses and a personalised shopping list so customers may buy everything from portals like Amazon, Pepperfry, and similar stores. More than 500 projects in India have been completed by them and soon going overseas.
Her business collaborates with and for its customers. They assist their clients with initiatives that help them save money and time. By offering virtual 360 views at an affordable price, DEZINEBOX lets its customers experience the joy of designing.
This voyage was challenging. Shweta had to battle her personal demons. Her epilepsy was a known condition. But Shweta’s will to live life and achieve her dreams, however, is stronger than any hardship or medical condition.
She feels lucky because she was not alone in this fight. An immensely supportive family is all that takes an entrepreneur through the toughest times in their journey. Parents with their unending love and support and in-laws that have shouldered her burdens of being a daughter-in-law and a mother at the same time as being a Founder are something Shweta is grateful for, each day. She truly believes that “No matter what happens family is the most important thing in the world.”
Being an entrepreneur is challenging; it needs persistence, self-control, and discipline. It is a 24-hour-a-day job that demands a lot of commitment and effort.
According to Shweta, the generation is exceptionally technologically advanced, receptive to technology, and willing to try new things. Future architects must have patience, for one reason. Learning new skills requires commitment; it cannot be done over time.
Despite being on her toes the whole day, this hardworking mother doesn't compromise on her mummy duties. Her daughter is her backbone. Drawing or watching TV is Shweta's favourite way to spend time with her daughter.
Shweta is the best example of an independent woman who knows how to make a balance between her personal and professional life. She encourages other people not to let themselves get lost in this chaos.
She advised other dreamers to do yoga, kriya and meditation to find inner peace. This practice has definitely helped her mind, soul and body positively.
She believes that clarity is crucial. It will provide direction, after all. And direction will lead you to success.
