Working from a younger age Neville Patel was never a stranger to the business world.
He would sit in meetings and listen and observe everyone's way of thinking, behaviour, and thought process, he quickly picked up how a business owner thinks and leads. Although he was young Neville remembers every detail and trick, he learned by simply observing those around him.
As Neville grew up, he completed his Graduation in Commerce, acquired a Six-Sigma Black Belt and got himself a fast-track executive MBA, after which he was ready to jump face-first into the world of business.
After starting Qualitas Global in 2014, it took Neville Patel just 5 years to reach 550 employees, until the pandemic lockdown slowed down his growth. Now Qualitas Global continues to grow at a steady pace with increasing clients every day.
Being the Founder, his mission is to generate wealth for the company as well as it’s employees and to help solve India’s employment problem.
This vision is the reason behind Qualitas Global hiring 90% of it’s technical staff from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and ensure that they hire as many women employees as possible. Neville Patel stresses that this vision in no way impacts the quality of the work produced as they have a very stringent hiring and training criteria.
Qualitas Global is an out-sourcing company, which is mainly focused on Data Annotation but provides mobile game testing services for major Video Game companies across the world and developers of multiple famous games including Ludo versions, BOT (Build Operate & Transfer) services, and RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) services.
Qualitas Global helps international companies set-up a base in Pune, helps them with all legal and HR compliances, finds the right office space for them and sets it up as per the request of the international companies and then hires the right staff to in-the-end hand it over to the company. This saves the international company a lot of money and efforts.
Qualitas Global has also invested in an U.S recruitment firm and intends to grow in the RPO business.
It is perhaps the only company in their vertical which focuses on giving clients a wow experience instead of billing hours.
Starting Qualitas Global not only allowed Neville Patel the opportunity to bring change in the field but also gave him a great opportunity to forever change the way outsourcing is viewed in India.
Not only that but being a business owner gave Neville Patel the freedom he longed for and associated with being a leader. For Neville, being a leader is enjoyable not only because he has freedom but also because it gave him the comfort of independence. Being a leader also gave him the free reign to say no to something he feels morally wrong. Neville very simply described the difference between something being morally wrong and legally wrong, he stated “I am not okay to do things which I feel are morally wrong. There is a difference because what is legal today can become illegal tomorrow and vice-versa”. After all, morals create laws and not the other way around.
Not only that but Neville has a hand in creating many leaders within his company. All his current managers are those who were there from the start of the company, and Neville has personally trained and groomed them on improving productivity as well as customer experience.
He enjoys everything associated with leadership right from micro-managing certain tasks to delegating certain tasks. This he says gives him a lot of freedom to do things the way he would like to do instead of working like the rest of the competition.
Neville is someone who has two attributes, similar to a coin. Each of his sides has a different speciality – these conflict as well as complement his style of work.

One is as a business leader and business owner, he is somewhat assertive in his style of work. He expects things to be done his way and in perfection in a very frugal way.
The second is that as a business leader and business owner, he loves networking and hosting his customers. His love for traveling helps as he is always ready to travel and meet his customers for small meetings instead of an online call. He also loves inviting customers from abroad to India and help them understand the cultural beauty of our country.
The first side of him is him as a boss; as a leader, he is a dictator, he wants things to be done his way in his instructions, and he also prefers to run his company in an economic direction. Whereas the second side of him is that of a business owner; he is very gracious and hospitable when it comes to his clients he likes to network and take his clients out to dinner and drinks. He enjoys socializing with his clients.
Most of all Neville Patel isn't focused on making his company the best company he has ever seen, rather he is very focused on making his company the best company the clients have ever worked with.
Neville Patel has enjoyed his life thoroughly; when asked what advice he would be giving his younger self, Neville had a nostalgic laugh and said that he wouldn't give a single piece of advice as he wouldn’t want to change anything. He stresses how everything has been worth it, the pleasures and pains have equally impacted and shaped his life.
Throughout his life, Neville has only been attached to god, and it is God who has blessed him with luck and all the help he ever needed. If God were to give Neville a chance to re-live his life, Neville would do so without changing a single detail.
Neville’s journey is proof that it is never early to learn something, no matter your age.
