Innovator Pradeep Arunachalam Is Bringing Back Humanity In Medicine

We all doubt ourselves, it’s how every journey begins and that’s how Pradeep’s journey began too. The first person who doubted or hesitated in Pradeep is Pradeep himself. Whenever he thought about starting his venture, he was crippled with fear and self-doubt.

Pradeep's family

After overcoming all those internal fears and doubts he took his first step towards his lifelong journey. The surprising thing is he received positive feedback from his father, brother and his partner when he put forth the idea for the first time about the startup.

Pradeep Arunachalam is a 29-year-old who was a keen learner from the start, he has completed MTech, Biotechnology and MBA, in Pharma technology. He has had work experience of 6+ years in the Biopharmaceutical industry where he has participated in various drug research and manufacturing activities.

His journey began during his previous experience in the development of cancer drugs, and he was deeply involved in regulatory aspects like GMP, GLP, and USFDA. He and his friends Manoj and Ranjith were always eager to start an entrepreneurship journey since their college days, the covid break forced them to brainstorm and gave them the push to start this tissue engineering venture.

Biodimension Technology Private Limited is a team of 7 with strong technical expertise. Their founding team consists of Manojkumar-CEO, Ranjithkumar-CBO, their technical team consists of scientists Arul Daniel, Annie-Jr., Chirag-Jr., and Mohanya-Jr. Their company is located at VIT University Vellore-632513.

Pradeep's team

The company’s goals are straightforward and focused. Their purpose at Biodimensions is to upgrade bio-industries with 4D bioproducts to deliver faster and more affordable gold standards for product testing and development. They aim to be a market leader in providing bioprinted organs for industrial and patient usage. Redefining research more humanely is their motto, they believe that non-animal alternatives should be used to eradicate animal experimentation for medical industries from the research ecosystem.

To succeed sometimes we have to push aside our doubts and fears, that’s exactly what Pradeep did. Every day he wakes up from bed with lots of thoughts about his startup and it always keeps him excited throughout the day. He used to recall the work that he left last night, and he would start thinking about how best he can deliver the tasks and accomplishments to his startup. He will have a call with his team, share his thoughts, and try to get some enlightenment from them.

Biodimensions, are the light at the end of the tunnel for the beauty and medical industries' cruel animal testing. They have developed a humane approach to animal testing utilizing 4D technology and were recognized as one of the top six startups by the Humane Entrepreneurship Program.

It’s not all about the business for Pradeep, there is much more to a startup than just simply running a business. More than a business owner, Pradeep gained a lot of confidence in himself as a human. He always values the employees, his stakeholders and the end user who is going to use his products and what his technology brings to this society and environment. This confidence made him able to communicate differently with his friends, colleagues and family and that brings him, love, them in return.

Pradeep's friends

He pours his very soul into Biodimensions. It taught him far more than a classroom ever did. It taught him the courage to face challenges, for analyzing techniques on the risk factors, and failures.

It taught him to focus more on the factors that caused them to fail and work more on the aspects to gain success.

All the things someone should have told them from their school days or college days.

Pradeep was taught many life lessons and some of them were to just start, starting is difficult but the rest is easy.

That there is no such thing called failure, we all have to undergo the process. Everything in our life has some steps, the whole picture if you look it's all just a process. But when you focus only on the incidents you may think of it as a failure, and you may quit. Don't do that.

Trust in yourselves and your thoughts even though they are the craziest ones, listen to your friends or cofounder and think about it and then talk about what you want to express only if you know it or are confident in it.

Never have an EGO with your team and never allow your emotions to take decisions on your venture.
