Over the last decade, K-pop idols like BTS Jimin have garnered an enormous fan base outside of South Korea, with fans admiring them and aspiring to emulate them. Unfortunately, 22-year-old Canadian actor Saint Von Colucci underwent 12 plastic surgeries in an attempt to resemble Jimin, which reportedly resulted in complications and his death in South Korea on April 23.

According to Colucci's publicist Eric Blake, the star spent more than $220,000 on the 12 plastic surgeries to look like Jimin. He underwent jaw implants in November and then had them removed last Saturday. Despite being aware of the risks involved, he decided to go ahead with the surgery and ultimately developed an infection that required intubation. He passed away hours later due to complications.
