Viacom 18's FIR Targets Rappers and Celebrities in IPL Betting App Controversy...

Maharashtra Cyber Cell was notified by Viacom18 that Sanjay Dutt and forty other actors, including Badshah, supported using the Fairplay app to watch the Indian Premier League.

The case regarding an IPL betting app: The Maharashtra Police have requested an investigation into Badhsah due to the celebrity rapper's promotion of IPL viewership on the Fairplay betting app.

Rapper Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, better known by his stage name Badshah, is being questioned by the Maharashtra Police Cyber Cell in Mumbai. The well-known rapper was called by the Maharashtra Police in relation to the "FairPlay" app from an online betting corporation.

Viacom18 informed Maharashtra Cyber Cell that Sanjay Dutt and forty other actors, including Badshah, promoted the idea that the Fairplay app should be used to watch the IPL.

In regard to this, Badshah made an appearance on Monday before the Maharashtra Cyber office in the World Trade Center in Mumbai about a case involving digital piracy and intellectual property rights (IPR).

According to the network, Badshah made an appearance with Prashant Patil, his attorney.

IPL content was illegally aired on the Fairplay app, where Badshah and forty other Bollywood actors encouraged users to watch IPL matches. According to the media network, Viacom owned the intellectual property rights for the IPL.

The Mahadev app, which is endorsed by Sourabh Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal, is linked to the Fairplay app.

The Mahadev Book app is presently being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for possible money laundering.

Several celebrities were called in relation to the case, including Huma Qureshi, Shraddha Kapoor, Kapil Sharma, and Ranbir Kapoor.
