The long-awaited and much-anticipated series ‘Chainsaw Man’, Season 1 Episode 1 has finally been released on October 11, 2022. The wait was absolutely worth it, living up to the hype in every possible way, the first episode of this season is truly a masterpiece, with the amazing MAPP studios at the helm. The episode very well, with a clear explanation, introduces the protagonist ‘Denji’ and his ideals and makes it easy for the audience to follow throughout the episode and makes it easy to stay connected throughout the entire season 1.
Episode 1 opens up with someone walking through an empty alleyway, and as they reach the corner, a door with several pieces of paper, appears. Whoever is approaching the door seems to be a child and as a hand reaches the door, the screen cuts black! Then the episode continues further, showing the protagonist Denji. The series is about the protagonist Denji, a young man who after making a contract with a dog-like devil called Pochita, fuses with the protagonist and grants him the ability to change his body parts into chainsaws. Eventually, Denji joins a government agency focused on fighting against devils when they become a threat to the world.
After the release of the first episode, the series was number 4 on the trending and rightfully deserved this. It came up with a banger opening video that has received over 14 million views on YouTube and Twitter. The episode opener is well produced, giving an excellent introduction to the series, and making sure the audience gets to know about the main characteristics well. It has given fans something to be excited about for the rest of the episodes. If the production team is able to maintain this level throughout, this series might just become 2022's most popular and well-made offering.
Chainsaw Man Season 1 will have 12 episodes and each episode will end with a unique song performed by a different music artist. The series has been directed by Ryn Nakayama and the script is written by Hiroshi Seko.
