Super Mario Bros. Movie doing decently at the box office, expected to rake in 141 million Dollars on opening weekend

The Super Mario Bros. Movie continued its slide into international markets on Thursday with an additional $27.6 million, bringing the offshore total to $62.5 million. Including the first two days in domestic markets, the worldwide total is $120.7 million, indicating an overseas debut of more than $160 million and a global start of more than $300 million.

Mexico is currently the top play with $11.4 million, more than any April animation's full opening weekend and also more than Frozen 2, Aladdin, and Finding Dory.
