Three days after its debut, "Gadar 2," a sequel to Sunny Deol's 2001 film "Gadar-Ek Prem Katha," which stars Ameesha Patel, continues to have a successful run at the box office.According to reports, the Anil Sharma-directed movie brought in Rs 52 crore on Sunday, bringing its total revenue to Rs 135.18 crore. The movie made 40.1 crore and 43.08 crore, respectively, in its first two days of release.
The story of "Gadar 2" focused on Singh's journey to Pakistan to help in rescuing his son from the army, while Deol and Patel both reprised their respective roles of Tara Singh and Sakeena.Across India, there has been a favourable popular response to the film. Numerous people arrived at a movie theatre on tractors in the Bhilwara area of Rajasthan.
Leading Bollywood actors expressed their reaction to the film's success and thanked the creators for the box office earnings. Dharmendra Deol, the father of actor Bobby Deol, expressed gratitude to the audience for the film's popularity.
With movie box office receipts of Rs 133 crore, "Gadar-Ek Prem Katha" became a smash hit.
