Stree ne raksha karli!! After making over 200 crores during the extended opening weekend, Stree 2 surprised everyone by earning almost 40 crores on its first Monday. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer is doing exceptionally well in India, making it the top Hindi film in 2024.
As soon as Stree 2 made 64. 80 crores on its first day (including early shows), it was clear that all predictions and expectations would change because of the audience's excitement. And that's exactly what's happening now. The movie made 242. 40 crores net earnings in India during its first five days.
Stree 2 is now the highest-grossing horror comedy film ever, earning more than Golmaal Again (Rs 205. 69). Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (Rs 184. 32). In the last five days, Stree 2 has made gone past Salman Khan's Bharat (Rs 212. 03 crores), Hrithik Roshan's Fighter (Rs 212. 79 crores), and Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki (Rs 227 crore) lifetime collection.
In just five days, Stree 2 has become the 29th biggest hit in Hindi cinema. If the film continues to hold steady over the week and shows a surge in the approaching extended weekend on the occasion of Janmashtami, it is likely to make its way into the top ten.
