One of the most iconic and audience-loved ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ was re-released on the big screens on November 2nd on the account of Shah Rukh Khan's 57th birthday. The film was released in selective theatres countrywide and the film managed to create big numbers with its collection even after almost three decades after its release.
The film was screened in a chain of few theatres where it managed to collect almost Rs. 25 lakhs, as reported by the Box Office of India. Even after its limited screenings in the three multiplex chains- INOX, Cinepolis, and PVR, the film was enjoyed to the fullest and experienced house full shows. And the SRK-Kajol starrer worked wonders at the ticket counters. The collection was as follows :

Cinepolis- Rs 4,40,000
PVR- Rs 13,10,000
‘DDLJ’ starring the Bollywood’ hit Jodi SRK and Kajol was released way back in the year 1995 and emerged as a big hit in those days. With its beautiful locales in Europe and the mustard fields of Punjab with the legendary tunes of music by Lata Mangeshkar, Udit Narayan, and Kumar Sanu the film was a complete heartthrob.
Shah Rukh Khan truly celebrated his 57th birthday as a King and ruled over millions of hearts. The actor will be next seen in ‘Pathaan’which is produced by Yash Raj Films and is widely awaited by audiences worldwide after a quick glimpse of the Khan in Brahmastra.
