According to Variety, the 2002 movie, which starred Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard, Linda Cardellini, and Neil Fanning as Scooby's voice, was a box office hit and made over USD 250 million worldwide.
From 1988 to 1991, the spinoff series "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo!" aired. Furthermore, as part of Kids' WB on The WB and its successor, The CW, which ran from 2002 to 2008, two Scooby-Doo reboots were introduced.
The same cast returned for a sequel, "Scooby-Doo: Monsters Unleashed," which debuted in 2004 and brought in over USD 180 million. Two live-action TV films were also released: "Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins" in 2009 and a sequel in 2010.
