Haryanvi singer, dancer, and actor Sapna Choudhary is in the headlines as she has formally filed a domestic violence case against her husband, Veer Sahu (Yashveer Sahu).

According to reports, Sapna approached the Dwarka Mahila Court in Delhi, alleging repeated physical assault and harassment.

The court has taken her allegations seriously, citing medical evidence and electronic records of threats provided by her counsel, Advocate Preeti Singh.

In a significant move, the court has granted Sapna interim protection and issued a restraining order against Sahu, prohibiting him from contacting her or visiting her residence, workplace, and the venue of her upcoming film Momacu’s premiere.

Sapna, who has reportedly left her marital home to reside with her parents in Najafgarh, expressed deep concerns for her safety and professional stability.

The matter is currently sub judice, with the next hearing scheduled for July 25, 2026.
