Salt Bae charges Rs. 1.3 crores to a customer dining at his restaurant

Once again, Salt Bae, a Turkish celebrity chef, has created a golden steak. This time, however, he's not getting any appreciation, and he's become a controversial subject. 

His followers always enjoy watching videos of gold-coated steaks he posts on Instagram. In his opinion, these steaks are the best because of their gold coating and expensive appearance. On November 18, his supporters found his behaviour to be distasteful.

Millionaire Nusret Gökçe, also known as Salt Bae, posted a photo on Instagram with the caption "Quality never expires" showing a customer's payment of rupees 1.3 crores at his restaurant, at the Galleria in Abu Dhabi's AI Maryah Island.

His post blew up the Internet, and many thought he was bragging about his money. Below his post, there are only unfavourable comments. Many of his followers have unfollowed him as a sign of their unhappiness.

The difference in food quality is a topic of much follower inquiry. For survival, we require simple food. An Instagram user who was distressed wrote, "A whole dying village can be fed with that much money, this is ridiculous," in response to the statement.

Like this, several comments expressing their regrets and displeasure with Instagram sensation Salt Bae. He has yet to respond to anything up to this point. However, Salt Bae has previously been the subject of unfavourable attention.

His New York restaurant received bad reviews in 2018 for its overpriced, overcooked, and oversalted food. Many food critics have given Salt Bae's food poor reviews, claiming that the meals lack flavour and the meat has a rigid structure.

A few of his fellow employees charged him in November 2019 with failing to share their tips. They were all dismissed after he inquired about their tips. To investigate the entire situation, a trial was scheduled, but it will not begin until after, the chef who made a million settled the dispute by paying his former employees $230,000.

For his distinctive salt-sprinkling technique and fancy meat cutting, Chef Salt Bae had become well-known throughout the world. Presently, he has been cancelled by many of his fans on Instagram due to his most recent controversial post.

Not only that, but Salt Bae and his restaurants have been the subject of much controversy from the year 2017 to 2022. His Boston restaurant was closed in 2020 as a result of breaching Covid 19 rules. Additionally, because of charging $37,000 to a customer, his UK restaurant received some bad press in 2021.

For Instagram influencer Chef Salt Bae, life in the neighbourhood is not good. Most of his supporters and fans are frustrated because they are aware of his history. Nusret Gökçe was from a low-income background before becoming Salt Bae. For this success, he put in a lot of effort.

At the beginning of his career, Gökçe gained experience by working for free in numerous restaurants. Then, in 2010, he went back to Turkey and started his first restaurant in Istanbul.
