Salman Khan, a Bollywood actor, met with Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday at her residence in Kolkata. Before entering the CM's residence for the meeting, both posed for the media. The Bengal Chief Minister can be seen presenting the actor with a shawl in a video that was shared by the news agency. Banerjee wrote on her Facebook account after the meeting, "It was a pleasure meeting the actor." She expressed, "It was a delight to meet Salman Khan ji, a prestigious character, and celebrated film entertainer, at my home today and enjoy a good discussion with him."
"Our discussion produced interesting viewpoints on a variety of topics, including the art industry, society, and people's development. I express my unassuming respects to him for visiting in the midst of his bustling timetable. May he remain healthy as he continues his climb to success. I pass my all the best on to him for his future." A Trinamool Congress legislator had previously announced Khan's arrival in Kolkata via Twitter. On May 23rd, actor Salman Khan will meet @MamataOfficial in Kolkata at the residence of the CM. "He will then perform in a massive show at East Bengal Ground," Ghosh had tweeted.
Khan is currently in Kolkata for his 'Da-Bangg The Tour Reloaded,' which is scheduled to take place at the East Bengal Club at 6 p.m. Prabhudeva, Pooja Hegde, Guru Randhawa, Maniesh Paul, Sonakshi Sinha, and Jacqueline Fernandez will perform at the event, according to reports. The event's ticket prices range from Rs 699 to Rs 40,000, and obtaining lounge access will set you back between Rs 2 lakh and Rs 3 lakh.
Recently, the actor has received death threats. This week, the Mumbai Police issued a lookout circular against a man who is accused of sending the actor a threatening email. As per reports, the suspect is a third-year clinical understudy from Haryana, who is concentrating in the UK. The man supposedly sent compromising messages to the entertainer for the sake of hoodlum Goldy Brar in Spring. Salman Khan received a death threat via mail in March from a gangster who goes by the name of Goldy Brar. Goldy Brar is also accused of killing famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala last year.
