What is a Triathlon?

A triathlon is a multi-discipline race that comprises three back-to-back events like swimming, cycling, and running. There are multiple kinds of triathlons with various distances. For instance, the Ironman 70.3 is sometimes referred as "half-Ironman," which comprises 1.9 km of swimming, 90 kilometers of bike riding, and 21.1 kilometers of running. All these steps have to be performed in sequence without any intermediate breaks. So it might be one of the toughest endurance races of the world.
