Fans of the Race franchise are going to be treated. With the movie Race 4, there are going to be returns with the plot from the first two films. Unlike the third one, which features Salman Khan, it drives the series back to its roots with suspense action, and twists.

After Salman Khan replaced the lead in Race 3, some fans missed the thrilling performance given by Saif Ali Khan as Ranvir Singh. Now, Saif is back to reclaim his role in Race 4. According to the film's writer, Shiraz Ahmed: this time, the film will pick up the plotline from the first two films. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Ahmed confirmed, For Race 4, we're continuing from the storyline of Race 1 and Race 2. We've returned to the same universe
This announcement has excited those who loved the strong plots and unsuspecting twists from the earlier movies. The eagerness of the viewer lies ahead in seeing how Saif's character develops in this new chapter of the franchise.

Filming to start in 2025
Ahmed also released a few behind-the-scenes updates on Twitter. The scripting is done, and the filming is set to begin in January 2025. Saif Ali Khan, reportedly, will be the flagbearer of the film with Sidharth Malhotra. The full cast hasn't been announced yet, but Tips Films will soon share the remaining names.

Why Race 3 Was Different
Even though Race 3 did just about all right at the box office, people were not as appreciative of it as the previous versions. Ahmed recalled, In Race 3, we changed the character behavior and it was a different film.
The major twist was from Salman Khan, as Ahmed puts it: Salman does not perform in villainous roles and his fans would not accept him as one, so some elements of the story had to be curtailed for him.

With Saif Ali Khan returning in the iconic role, Race 4 is finally going to sport the action-packed sequences and thrilling twists that the fans have been wanting since the originals.
