Ravi Muppa's Short Film 'Incognito' to Be Adapted into Feature Film by Anurag Kashyap

Mumbai-based filmmaker Ravi Muppa, known for his writing contributions to the Ayushmann Khurrana-led film "Bala" and the Amazon Prime Video series "The Family Man" created by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, is now set for a new venture. 

His short film, Incognito, which has been presented at numerous film festivals worldwide, including Palm Springs Shortfest, Tirana, and LA Shorts, is poised for a feature film adaptation, with Anurag Kashyap taking on the role of producer.

The other producer is Ranjan Singh alongside Nicholas Weinstock and Divya D'Souza from Invention Studios, will spearhead the production of the feature adaptation.

Anurag Kashyap, expressing his sentiments about 'Incognito,' stated, "Incognito stands out as a uniquely sharp, nervous, and unflinching film, and its journey thus far reinforces our belief in its potential. We're delighted to collaborate with Invention Studios to propel this story into a feature film," Kashyap also served as the executive producer for the short film.

The short film ‘Incognito’ is a thrilling story that revolves around a motel receptionist who covertly records guests without their awareness and consent and sells the ‘footage’ online for additional income ‘incognito’ as the ‘title’ suggests. However, when one guest, a young girl at risk of human trafficking, comes into the picture, the receptionist grapples with a moral dilemma and embarks on a mission.
