In a magical Meitei wedding held in Imphal, actors Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram sealed their love in a traditional ceremony. Randeep, in a striking Manipuri groom's attire, wore a white kurta and dhoti paired with a vibrant yellow koyet headgear and a simple white shawl. Embracing cultural traditions, he opted for minimal jewellery, letting the elegance of his clothing shine.
Lin mesmerized everyone as she donned the traditional Manipuri bridal costume, representing the Rasleela dance. Her outfit centred around the Potloi, a cylindrical skirt made of bamboo and cloth, intricately hand-embroidered and bedecked with ornaments. Completing her look was the transparent white tulle veil, the Likhom necklace, and customary accessories like the Kajenglei crown and Maatha Patti, all radiant with gold embellishments.
Both Randeep and Lin adorned the symbolic white Chandan tilaks, exchanging vows at the Chumthang Shannapung resort amid the traditional Meitei wedding rituals. Their ethereal appearance and grace enchanted fans as they shared breathtaking photos from their special day on Instagram.
Randeep, in an Instagram post, joyfully declared their union: “From today, we are One ♥️♾️ #JustMarried”.
Earlier, Randeep had expressed his love for Lin and excitement to immerse in Manipuri customs during interviews. Their relationship became public on Instagram in October 2022.
The couple, accompanied by their families, sought blessings at Imphal's temples and visited the Relief Camp at Moirang Lamkhai and Sendra Tourist Resort ahead of their wedding, radiating happiness and love.
