Pirates of the Caribbean Franchise is getting a Reboot, Will Jack Sparrow Return?

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who is well-known for his work on Beverly Hills Cops, Bad Boys, and Top Gun, recently revealed that the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is preparing for a reboot. Fans all across the world have been speculating and waiting anxiously for this decision. 

Bruckheimer said when asked when audiences can expect a new Pirates movie or another Top Gun movie; he also produces the Tom Cruise action films. "You don't know how they come together. You just don't know."

A reboot, No direct sequel!

Jerry Bruckheimer, said "But we're gonna reboot Pirates, so that is easier to put together because you don't have to wait for certain actors.”

The Pirates of the Caribbean movie will not follow the trajectory of a direct sequel. Instead, it opts for a reboot. 

Reboot is for a fresh start for the beloved franchise, bringing a fresh perspective and streamlining the production process. After casting choices were no longer dependent on particular performers, the new adventure's timeline might really advance quickly. Selecting a reboot instead of a direct sequel frees up time in the production schedule by removing the need to postpone casting choices. Even though Depp won the trial, and Depp expressing his desire to collaborate with Disney once more, However, to the surprise of everyone, he is not returning for the sixth voyage.

The reboot of the franchise will mean the end of Johnny Depp's run as Captain Jack Sparrow along with some other actors like Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley who played Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, respectively, in the first three installments.
