The tragic death of the beloved One Direction star has left his fans, friends, and family members heartbroken. The preliminary toxicology report has made some horrific revelations of the presence of the lesser-known drug “Pink Cocaine” in his body.

As the case of the mysterious death of the One Direction star unfolds, the Preliminary toxicology report divulges appalling truths about the presence of a substance called “Pink Cocaine”, a mix of drugs such as ketamine, ecstasy, and methamphetamine in his system in large quantities before his death. 

What is this substance called ‘Pink Cocaine’?

Contrary to what the name may suggest Pink Cocaine rarely contains Cocaine in it. The Narcotics Prosecutor dept of New York disclosed it to be a high-profile Party drug popularly used for ‘date rape’ in clubs as it is dangerous and causes amnesia. 

However, the commonly mixed trademark trio is a combination of drugs namely ketamine, ecstasy, and methamphetamine, all of which were found in the body of the late musician.

The former One Direction member is believed to be under the influence of ‘Pink Cocaine’ with other substances when he fell from his hotel building to death, in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Originated from Columbia ‘Pink Cocaine’ is commonly known as ‘Tusi’ or ‘Tuci’ as a phonetic form of 2C-m, a quasi-psychedelic first manufactured by Alexander Shulgan in the 1970s is usually expensive to ship, the Feds are concerned that sellers might make their batch to sell. 

Effect and rise of usage of Pink Cocaine

Bridget Brennan, New York’s Special Narcotics Prosecutor stated that ‘the drug ‘Pink Cocaine’ is dangerous and can put you in K-hole, like the individual is dissociating from their body and brain and doesn’t know what’s going on, as similar to being in blank space’. 

It can cause serious adverse health effect and addiction if used for prolonged period of time. The use of unpredictable components may cause- 

  1. Hallucination 

  2. Anxiety

  3. Increased heart rate 

  4. Low blood pressure 

  5. Elevated body temperature 

Researchers have stated concern about the rising usage of Pink Cocaine in the streets, especially the possibility of mixing it with fentanyl, a deadly combination as it is, can be extremely addictive. 

A task force in California has seized 4.4gm of Pink Cocaine containing a mixture of various other drugs along with it. A man in New Jersey was caught selling Pink Cocaine with various other substances mixed in it, followed by several locations that heeded the situation. 

The rising usage of ‘Pink Cocaine’ among celebrities has raised awareness as it has been linked with the P.Diddy case of trafficking and sex assault filed by music producer Rodney. It is stated that “from the butler to house-keeper, everyone was required to be around with fanny-pouch of cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, and tuci, as Mr. Combs required it whenever they needed’.
