Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia's father has released an official statement in response to the recent statement put out by Priyanka Chahar Choudhary's team.
In the message, he expresses his firm belief that no responsible or sincere fan would ever openly make death or rape threats, spread hate via body shaming or age shaming, or make fun of his daughter's anxiety or her community. In addition, he brought up the subject of paid trolls, charging that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary's supporters "openly gave murder and rape threats or promoted hatred through body shaming, age shaming, mocking his daughter's anxieties and even her community."
He also accused Priyanka Choudhary's team of 'underhandedly trying to make fun of her emotions while reading the family letter sent inside the house a few weeks back' and 'purposely encouraging the so-called irresponsible fans to try to troll and target Nimrit Ahluwalia openly'.
He concluded the statement by saying that a true winner and natural leader is never made by pulling someone down but by creating a winning pathway and winning everyone's hearts on the way to the top.
