Makers of India's Most Loved Fam-Com "Khichdi" dropped the Official Trailer of Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan", today on November 1st. This comedy-drama is directed by Jamnadas Majethia and produced by Aatish Kapadia's Hats Off Productions.
The production house, Hatsoff Productions, shared the trailer on Instagram, inviting everyone to enjoy the humour of "Khichdi 2" this Diwali.
"Khichdi" originally began as a stage play, that revolved around the quirks of a Gujarati joint family in Mumbai. It later expanded into a sitcom, web series, and a movie. It has become the only Indian sitcom to transition into a full-fledged Bollywood feature film.
This beloved show originally aired on Star Plus during the early 2000s, running for two years and comprising 98 episodes. The sequel, an adventure comedy, is making its way to the big screen 13 years after the release of the first film.
Its popularity can be attributed to its humour, memorable characters, and outstanding performances that left a lasting impression on Fans.
Pratik Gandhi has joined the cast of Khichdi, Supriya Pathak Kapoor, Vandana Pathak, Anang Desai, Rajeev Mehta, and Jamnadas Majethia in the Sequel, with Farah Khan in a special role, promising an entertaining experience for the audience.

The movie seems to include the familiar Hansa jokes and Himanshu humour and explores themes like unity, forgiveness, and the strong bonds of family.
