The creators of Rishab Shetty's unexpected Kannada blockbuster, Kantara, from 2022, have now revealed the title for its prequel. Additionally, they disclosed information about the release date for the first look poster of the upcoming film on Saturday.
Addressing their X account, Hombale Films, the film's producers, have unveiled information about the initial poster of the prequel, along with its title. The movie is named 'Kantara' A Legend: Chapter 1.

Back in March of this year, the creators had announced that Kantara would be getting a prequel, delving into the events initially presented in the film. The statement on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi and New Year expressed, "We are pleased to announce that the scripting for the second part of #Kantara has commenced. We eagerly anticipate presenting another compelling story that highlights our connection with nature. Stay tuned for further updates”.
