Shah Rukh Khan's latest film, Jawan, is making waves in the Hindi film industry with its impressive box office collections. The film has set new records, starting with its historic opening-day collection of Rs 75 crore. On the second day, it collected Rs 53 crore, and on the third day, it made Rs 74.50 crore, bringing its domestic nett collection to Rs 202.73 crore.
The film performed well in different languages, making Rs 66 crore in Hindi, Rs 5 crore in Tamil, and Rs 3.5 crore in Telugu on the third day. While it managed to attract some audiences in Tamil and Telugu states, the majority of its earnings are coming from Hindi-speaking states.
Jawan has also achieved success on the global stage, grossing Rs 240.47 crore worldwide after just two days. The film's production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, had previously claimed that it made Rs 129.6 crore on its opening day worldwide.
With its impressive collections, Jawan has become the top Hindi opener of the year, surpassing Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, which made Rs 57 crore on its opening day. The film has also set a new record by crossing the Rs 200 crore mark in just three days, beating Pathaan's four-day record and Gadar 2's five-day record.
Shah Rukh Khan's return to the big screen after a hiatus has been well-received by audiences. His comeback with Pathaan was met with enthusiasm, and the success of Jawan further proves that his fans were eager to see him on screen again.
