Instagram added a new feature to the chat page, called “ Instagram notes” in December 2022. It allows the users to put out messages short, which is made visible to their followers. This is more or less similar to the story, but couldn't add images.
Recently Instragram came up with another cool feature, by introducing the possibility to add a 30-second song clipping to the notes. With this exciting new update, the users will be able to choose a song they desire and insert a 30-sec clipping. Mark Zuckerburg officially announced this update on Tuesday, on the Meta channel, saying “You can now add a 30-sec clipping of your favourite songs to Notes on Instagram. Shoutout to my daughters for levelling up my music taste.”
Adding to this the user can also add a small caption note beneath the song they posted. This helps the users to depict their feelings, or send messages to their loved ones, along with the song they like. The notes have a character limit of only 60 words and are meant to share short notes and not a paragraph. Along with this the new update, of adding a translation button to the notes feature, had allowed the users to understand notes from many other languages too.
