“Thank you for making me the star I am, yet again”- Shah Rukh

While addressing the audience in his acceptance speech Shah Rukh Khan was extremely overwhelmed by the love he received this year and this is what he said,

“I’d like to thank everyone here and people who are watching this on television, hoards of you who came to this year to watch my films, some of you may not have liked them but I know deep down inside, you came there to support me, and my family so I bow down to you and thank you for bringing cheer to my family, my children, my loved ones and I thank you for making me the star I am yet again.”

He further stated that he accepted the award on behalf of his family, which he believes "deserves a bigger cheer" that includes his wife Gauri Khan, daughter Suhana Khan, and sons Aryan and Abram Khan. While speaking, he also cited his well-known line, "Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost" (there's more to the story).

Smashing 2023 for Shah Rukh

Bollywood's King Khan had a successful 2023, with three massive releases. He made his comeback on the big screen with YRF's “Pathaan”, and later in the year he collaborated with South Indian Filmmaker Atlee on “Jawan”. Both films went humongous at the box office, shattering many records. Shah Rukh's third and final release “Dunki” with one of the country's most celebrated filmmakers Rajkumar Hirani was well-received by many of his admirers despite a mixed reception at the box office. His upcoming 2024 projects have not yet been revealed.
