The Voice Behind many Bollywood's Beloved Hits, Krishna Kumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK. Today marks the anniversary of his debut for Bollywood. Google paid tribute to KK, who started his playback journey with the chartbuster Chhod Aaye Hum from the film Maachis in 1996. Since then KK has become an integral part of Bollywood and was appreciated for his work. He was born on August 23, 1968, at Delhi. He completed his graduation from Delhi University and joined the corporate sector. However, he soon gave upon that to work on his passion for music and joined professional world of singing.
His foray into the industry began with jingles recording where he recorded over 3,500 jingles in various languages. His talent was soon recognized by Bollywood, and he got famous for songs like Tadap Tadap from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and songs from his debut album "Pal". KK's career spanned two decades and saw him sing more than 500 songs in Hindi as well as more than 200 songs in other languages like Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam. Matching the multiplicity of the language and his bonding with the audiences through romantic songs like Khuda Jaane to emotional tracks like Beetein Lamhe made him one of the best.

The shocking news of 53-year-old singer KK's death because of cardiac arrest in 2022 left fans from across the world in a state of shock. It had happened just a few hours after his performance in Kolkata, where he suffered a heart attack and fell. Though he is no more but his intangible songs and the long-lasting legacy he left behind are still touching millions.
