Deepika Padukone made a stunning appearance at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles, becoming the first Indian to attend the event this year. The Bollywood actress donned a midnight blue velvet gown with a mermaid-style fishtail, accentuating her figure. The gown featured one-sleeve detailing and perfectly complemented her makeup, exuding a chic and effortless vibe.

The Academy Museum Gala is the second-largest stage in the world, organised by the same board as the Oscars. Earlier this year, Deepika presented the award-winning song "Naatu Naatu" from the film RRR on the Oscars stage. Now, she is ending the year with another appearance on the Academy stage.

Deepika has had a successful year at the box office, with two of her films receiving praise and worldwide recognition. She started the year with the highly successful film "Pathaan," opposite Shah Rukh Khan, followed by a special cameo appearance in "Jawan," also featuring Khan.

Looking ahead, Deepika has two big releases scheduled for next year. In January, she will star in Nag Ashwin's "Kalki 2898 AD" and Sidharth Anand's "Fighter." In "Fighter," she will be seen opposite Hrithik Roshan for the first time, while "Kalki 2898 AD" features Prabhas as the male lead. Nag Ashwin is the film's writer, director, and producer, and C. Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies is its producer.
