On May 22, Aditya Singh Rajput, an actor, model, and photographer, was discovered dead in his Andheri home's bathtub. His friend found his body in his flat, and together with the watchman, they hurried him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 'His body has been sent for postmortem, the investigation is underway', said, Mumbai Police.
When we asked DCP Krishnakant Upadhyay regarding the reports of drug overdoses in an exclusive interview, he replied "No, we are yet to confirm this. Whatever information we got so far is that Aditya Singh around 33 years of age was found fallen in the bathroom. During that time, his servant and the watchman picked him up and put him in bed. Thereafter he was taken to the nearest hospital and later was referred to Trauma Care Hospital. We are not pretty sure about the drug overdose. It was claimed by the servant that he had a cold and a cough for a few days. The post-mortem is yet to be done, we cannot say anything before that."
He added, "The primary information is that he had gone for nature's call and there he fell in the bathroom. Talking about the injury, the official stated, "There is some swelling in the left side of his ear so probably he must have gotten hurt when he fell."
According to the actor's Instagram stories, he spent the night at home with his friends. Sharing his feelings over Aditya's passing in an exclusive interview, his friend Sabyasachi Satpathy said, "The news is saying drug overdose and all. I have been a friend of his but I haven't been in touch with him since I am in Odisha. It has been around one and a half years since we met and spoke. The investigation is going on. That is what I have heard, maybe he must have hit his head when he fell in the bathroom."
