Multiple sources and social media posts suggest that superstar Dhanush and his wife Aishwarya Rajinikanth have agreed to call off their divorce. In addition, a News 18 story states that Dhanush and Aishwarya have decided to postpone their divorce and try to reconcile their differences.
The former couple announced their split on their social media accounts on January 17, asking followers to respect their decision and grant them much-needed privacy. The divorce declaration stunned everyone in the field. After the announcement, Kasturi Raja, the actor's father, told a Tamil publication that there had been a quarrel between the two. Rumours were going around that the families of Dhanush and Aishwarya were trying to persuade them to stay together.
Aishwarya and Dhanush initially met at the actor's "Kadhal Kandaen" premiere (2003). They got married on November 18, 2004. Together they have two sons, Yatra Raja and Linga Raja.
While there have been numerous claims since Wednesday stating that the couple had cancelled their divorce, neither Dhanush nor Aishwaryaa have officially confirmed this. However, the actor's supporters were ecstatic and turned to social media to share their joy. On the professional front, Dhanush most recently appeared in the horror-thriller "Naane Varuvean" by director Selvaraghavan. Dhanush plays two characters in the movie. The movie has already made 65 crore rupees at the box office.
