As the first guests on Koffee With Karan 8, Ranveer and Deepika evoked a varied response from the audience because of their shocking statements.
Fans are eager to watch who will be seen chatting on the Koffee couch this season as Koffee With Karan 8 has officially started. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were the first guests on Karan Johar's chat show, and they made some controversial remarks.
Ranveer and Deepika made some explosive remarks on Karan Johar's show. Ranveer revealed his wedding footage to the audience while Deepika talked about her open relationship. What became viral, were Deepika's remarks about their open relationship and Ranveer's response.
Deepika discussed the beginnings of their relationship in one of the Koffee With Karan segments. She went on to say that she didn't commit to Ranveer because she wanted to be free of commitments after being in challenging relationships in the past. They would return to each other even if they were free to visit other individuals.
She said.......... ‘I wanted to be single for a while because I had come from difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said 'I just don't want to be attached, don't want to be committed'. And I had fun! And then he came along so I didn't commit until he proposed to me. There was no 'commitment as such. Even if we were technically to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other."
Furthermore, Deepika revealed that although she would meet other individuals, she still planned to stay with Ranveer.
however then, Karan asked Deepika a follow-up question, asking her to identify the people she was referring to. When the actress asked Ranveer the same question, he appeared irritated because he too wanted the names of the individuals. "Abi toh tumne bola seeing other people, but I would go back to him,". ‘Yaad nahi hai tumko ab tumko’ HE remarked Deepika said she couldn't recall the individuals just to be safe. Ranveer replied, "But I remember very clearly."
After the video was posted to Reddit, some users made fun of Deepika, while others showed support for Ranveer. "Ranveer was pissed!" one user wrote. The way he said "Very Clearly" made the guy angry and hurt! However, DP's eyes and nose scratch convey a different message!" Another person said, "Don't forget she remembered her depression phase right when her movie releases were around the corner."
On Reddit and Twitter, this video clip became highly viral. For having an open relationship before getting engaged to Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone has come under fire from internet users.
Now that the clip of the show has been shared on social media, people are "discussing" the actress' remark and the segment has gone viral. Not everyone responded well, though; others started making fun of Deepika for her dating philosophy.
One person said, "So Deepika just admitted their open relationship."
Somebody further said, "Don't forget she remembered her depression phase right when her movie releases were around the corner."
In a satirical comment, another fan says about Deepika, "Even if we were allowed to see other people, we just kept coming back to each other." Nope. Well, no. I can attest to the fact that it is a really harmful thing to do.
