BTS Star Jin Begins Mandatory Military Service

BTS star Jin has announced the beginning of his mandatory military service. The sensational South Korean boy band had already announced the temporary pause to their works in October lately as they have to compulsorily enroll for the military service as of Korean rules.

Jin announced the starting of his service by sharing a picture of his trimmed head on social media networks, bidding farewell to his fans all around the world. Jin (Kim Seok-jin) entered a military facility at Yeoncheon, near the frontier with North Korea, in the early afternoon in an unmarked car and with minimal fanfare. Jin has politely shared that the facility does not have room for media and fans and the event was minimal. Jin is the oldest member of the band. The 30-year-old posted a photo of himself with his new military haircut before enlisting on Tuesday. "It looks cuter than I expected," he quoted. After training, Jin will reportedly be stationed near the North Korean border, with a frontline unit. After Jin, Suga is the next in line to enroll for the compulsory military service.

Earlier, the members also shared posts on their respective Instagram accounts as they bid Jin goodbye. J-Hope shared a string of pictures containing himself and Jin as they had a meal. They also posed for pictures. He captioned the post, "Let's be healthy and happy bro!!! I love you!!! #Prepared by Seokjin hyung #happy dinner." Taking to his Instagram Stories, V dropped a clip from one of their concerts. The video featured him and Jin on the stage. He wrote, "123 let's not get hurt." V also added Jin's recent release, Astronaut, as the background music.

Fans all around the world bid goodbye ro Jin as the star announced the news. The fans also had posted emotional messages which showed their deep feelings and love for the boy band, with the hastag, #GoodbyeJin . BTS members have all bid farewell to their big brother and wished him good luck. The band will not release any group work until all of them finish their military work. However they will not disappoint the fans as they plan to release singles until they unite. Last month Jong Kook released 'Dreamers'  for the fifa world cup opening ceremony which gained huge appreciation from all around the world.
