BTS Star Jungkook releases highly-anticipated solo album 'Golden'

Jung Kook, BTS's youngest member, released his long-awaited solo album, Golden, on Friday. The album, which is heavily influenced by English-language music, is a reflection of Jung Kook's love of retro-pop sounds.

Jungkook from BTS has just smashed Miley Cyrus' record with his song Seven, becoming the fastest track to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify. This Korean singer's latest single, featuring Latto, managed to rack up a whopping 1 billion streams in just 108 days. Not only that, but Seven also soared to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, making Jungkook the second member of BTS, after Jimin, to achieve this incredible feat as a solo artist. Talk about being a true "golden" artist!

The album was released on November 3rd. It's got a total of 11 tracks. When bands announce that they're taking a break, their fans get concerned about the band splitting up. But BTS' break has been quite eventful. From Jin teaming up with Coldplay for 'My Universe' to V and Jungkook's solo album debuts, the group's hiatus has been amazing.

Jungkook's album showcases his love of retro-pop, a vibrant and dynamic genre that blends nostalgia with innovation, bridging the gap between past and present and inviting listeners on a musical journey through time.
