Bride was issued a challan for filming an Instagram video on a moving car's hood

A bride from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, was hit with a heavy penalty of Rs 15,500 as a consequence of a vehicle ride.

The bride had made an Instagram reel while sitting on the SUV's hood. She was wearing a red wedding lehenga that combined tradition and modernity, yet the authorities were however aware of her behavior. The UP Police acted quickly and imposed an appropriate punishment against the bride for breaking traffic laws.

According to cops: “A woman identified as Varnika, a resident of Allahapur had first made a 13-second reel, in which she was seen driving a two-wheeler in a bridal costume without wearing a helmet. Later, she sat on the bonnet of an SUV wearing the bridal outfit, near Pathar Girjaghar on May 16 and her driver drove the car for some distance. Taking cognizance of the violation of the traffic rules, cops issued a challan to the tune of Rs 15,500 to the owner of the SUV.”
