BAFTA 2024 : Deepika Padukone Stuns in Saree, Oppenheimer Triumphs, Emma Stone Takes Best Actress

According to PTI, Deepika Padukone, who presented an award at the 77th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA), opted for a glittering saree rather than the usual award-season gown.At a ceremony on Sunday, the actor handed over the Bafta for the film, not in the English language category to filmmaker Jonathan Glazer.

Deepika recently posted on social media, captioning her stories from the BAFTA event with the word "Gratitude." She conveyed her appreciation for having to accept the invitation to present the awards. 

 

Deepika looked stunning in a shimmering saree with gold and silver hues and an all-over sequin blouse with strappy sleeves. She wore a messy bun, bold earrings, and dewy makeup with kohl-rimmed eyes.

Alongside Deepika on stage were many other BAFTA Award presenters, including Hugh Grant, Lily Collins, Adjoa Andoh from "Bridgerton," Cate Blanchett, singer Dua Lipa, former England football player David Beckham, and "Emily in Paris" star Adjoa Collins. Live streaming of the 77th BAFTA Film Awards ceremony was available in India on Lionsgate Play.
