‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ hitting screens on April 11, Thursday, amid Eid festivities, kicked off with ₹15.65 crore on day one! Day two, Friday, brought in another ₹7.6 crore. But it fell flat over the weekend, though a minor jump to ₹8.5 crore on Saturday and ₹9 crore on Sunday was seen!
But again, Crashing box office is not expected from the action duo Akshay-Tiger’s Big-Budget (over Rs 350 crores) release over the weekend.
Post-Weekend Crash
"Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" faced a rough ride from the start. Adding to it, the movie took a bit of a nosedive on Monday, pulling in around ₹2.50 crore. Despite that, "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'' has managed to rake in a tidy sum of ₹43.30 crore domestically and a whopping ₹75 crore worldwide! The film is most likely to move past the Rs 100 crore mark!

"Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'' is an action-thriller featuring Akshay Kumar as Bade Miyan and Tiger Shroff as Chote Miyan. The Original Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, a Comedy/Action was released in 1998 starring Amitabh Bachchan, Govinda and Raveena Tandon.

Manushi Chhillar and Alaya F play the female leads, with South actor Prithviraj Sukumaran as the main antagonist. Sonakshi Sinha and Ronit Roy also play important roles. It is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Jackky Bhagnani, Himanshu Kishan Mehra and Zafar.
The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, known for his films like Salman Khan Starrer Sultan. The five-day total of "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" barely matched the one-day total of Salman Khan's last theatrical release, "Bharat," directed by Ali Abbas, which kicked off with a whopping Rs 42 crore on Eid.
The film also released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, but the combined earnings from these versions barely scratched Rs 4 crore in five days.
It clashed with Ajay Devgn's "Maidaan'' in theatres, which is just as average at the box office.
Overall, It seems like Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are having a bit of a tough time at the box office post-pandemic! With "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" being Akshay's seventh flop since then and Tiger's third in a row after "Heropanti 2" and "Ganapath," it looks like they're both still searching for that winning formula!
The end note, One thing you can always count on in Akshay and Tiger's movies are their jaw-dropping action sequences and stunts. If you're in for that, "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" is definitely worth a watch!
