To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the romantic drama film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, the makers have announced a recreation of the iconic song "Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayee." Singer B. Praak took to Instagram to share the exciting news and express his gratitude for the opportunity. He mentioned that it has been his dream to sing and recreate this magical song in his own style. He thanked Karan Johar for accepting his request and trusting him to do justice to the song.
The announcement was met with enthusiasm from fans, who expressed their excitement and nostalgia for the original song. Karan Johar also shared the news on his Instagram story, referring to it as "Version 2.0."
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, released in 1998, starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Rani Mukherjee in lead roles and received critical acclaim and numerous awards. The film also set several trends, such as gifting friendship bands on Friendship Day and popularising SRK's pendant and Anjali's bob-cut hairstyle.
