Moonbin, a popular 25-year-old K-pop star and member of the music group ASTRO, was found dead in his Seoul apartment on April 19th. Although the cause of his death is currently being investigated, the South Korean police have not found any evidence of foul play. Moonbin's agency, Fantiago, confirmed the tragic news and expressed their condolences to his family, friends, and fans. They also requested that the media avoid speculating and spreading malicious rumours, and instead allow the bereaved family to mourn in peace. Moonbin's sister, who is also a K-pop artist and a member of the group Billie, has taken a leave of absence from her activities. This is the latest in a series of heartbreaking losses in the K-pop industry, following the deaths of Goo Hara and Sulli in 2019.
