Miss Universe, 1994 and Bollywood actor, Sushmita Sen suffered a heart attack a few days back. She had to undergo an angioplasty and had a stent inserted into her heart. She is known for her cheerful and down-to-earth nature. She also promotes yoga and body positivity. Therefore, this news came as a shocker to the fans.
She was admitted to Nanavati Hospital on February 27 and discharged on March 1. Sushmita Sen took to Instagram and revealed this news. She posted a picture of herself with her father with the caption, “Keep your heart happy & courageous, and it’ll stand by you when you need it the most, Shona (wise words from my father @sensubir). I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back... Angioplasty done ... stent in place... and most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed I do have a big heart.”
