On Thursday evening, Actor Shreyas Talpade suffered a heart attack and was promptly rushed to Belle Vue Hospital in Andheri West, Mumbai. After undergoing angioplasty, he is now in stable condition and he is currently in the process of recovering in the ICU.
According to a hospital official who spoke to PTI, "He was brought to the hospital late last evening, and an angioplasty was performed last night. He is fine." A family member also stated "He is doing much better.
Shreyas Talpade was reportedly shooting for the Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Welcome To The Jungle' , third edition to Hit Film ‘Welcome’ in Mumbai on Thursday.
After completing the day's shoot, he returned home in the evening, and felt uneasiness and collapsed, he was then rushed to the hospital.
The actor's wife, Deepti Talpade, issued a statement expressing gratitude for the concern and well-wishes amid the recent health scare her husband faced.
“I'm relieved to update everyone that he is now in stable condition and will be discharged in a few days. The medical team's exceptional care and timely response have been instrumental during this time, and we are grateful for their expertise” she stated.
Deepti also requested everyone to respect the family's privacy.“ We kindly request respect for our privacy as he continues his recovery.”
“Your unwavering support has been a tremendous source of strength for both of us. Warm regards,” she added.
