Three venues—the Indian Habitat Center, the Instituto Cervantes (Spanish Cultural Center), and the Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan—will host the screenings. The festival strives to offer audiences to a variety of genres, including dramas, heartbreaking documentaries, lighthearted comedies, and thought-provoking narratives by highly brilliant female directors from European cinema. This is achieved through a carefully curated roster of cinematic jewels spanning 25 languages. Our goal at the European Union is to recognize the extraordinary influence these remarkable women have had on global film. The 28th European Union Film Festival will showcase the works of renowned directors, including Alice Diop, Justine Triet, Carla Simon, and Maren Ade.
