The 67th BFI London Film Festival will host the international premiere of Kareena Kapoor Khan's "The Buckingham Murders" directed by Hansal Mehta next month.

Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor are the producers of the movie.

"One more piece of news I’ve been dying to share! Our labor of love, The Buckingham Murders, featuring the incredible Kareena Kapoor Khan, produced by @EktaaRKapoor, Shobha Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan in association with @MahanaFilms is set to have its world premiere at the prestigious 67th BFI London Film Festival," Mehta announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Using themes of loss, closure, and the immigrant experience, he described the movie as "an atmospheric thriller."

Kareena posted images from the movie along with the news and information on the BFI screening on Instagram.

As part of the festival, which is showing some of the most well-known movies from around the world, Tarsem Singh's "Dear Jassi" is also being screened.

Between October 4 and October 15, there will be a film gala.
