Navratri and Durga Puja, two vibrant festivals celebrating the Goddess, each with unique traditions. Navratri in the north and west, Durga Puja in the east, what is the story?🌸

Navratri and DurgaPuja, two of the most celebrated festivals in India, highlight the rich cultural diversity of our country. While Navratri is predominantly celebrated in the north and west, DurgaPujo is a grand affair in the east, especially in West Bengal. Both festivals honour the Goddess, but with unique traditions and beliefs. Navratri begins with the worship of Devi Durga's first incarnation, Shailputri, and ends with the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana.

On the other hand, Durga Puja starts with Mahalaya and celebrates Devi Durga's victory over the demon Mahishasura, culminating in the vibrant Sindur Khela . This is the beauty of India's diverse culture.
