NTA Relaxes 75% Marks in Class 12 as an Eligibility Criteria for JEE Mains

In the hearing held on Tuesday, the Bombay high court did not postpone the JEE 2023 examinations.

It said that since the exam sits twice, people who don't score well in the first can try again in April. 

The high court has set another hearing on 21st February, after the first round of the exams.

Although the high court did not change the dates, they have announced a new eligibility criteria for JEE mains. 

Now,  apart from those who score 75% in 12th boards, people who are in the top 20% of 12th examinations irrespective of marks will be eligible for JEE mains. 

The registration for JEE mains ends tomorrow, on 12th january.
