The Supreme Court of India has rejected appeals to move the NEET PG 2023 exam, scheduled for March 5th. The petitioners had requested for postponement due to a lack of time to prepare for the test. However, their plea was denied as the court did not agree that there was insufficient time provided to get ready.
The petitioners argue that the National Board of Examination issued the notice without consulting all the State Medical Councils concerning an extremely vital aspect of eligibility. In the last hearing, the petitioners claimed that this matter affects approximately 45,000 applicants. The National Board of Examinations has informed that nearly 209,000 individuals registered for the NEET PG in 2023.
However, the decision to not postpone the examination still stands. The NEET PG 2023 exam is still scheduled to take place on March 5, 2023, as per the earlier announced schedule. The Supreme Court has rejected all the petitions seeking to postpone this exam and thus, all candidates must be prepared accordingly.
