Skill India's attempts to help the workforce have reached a major milestone with the launch of the Super Power Retailer Programme. This will help retailers gain power and make progress. The initiative's main goal is to help stores succeed in today's retail market by increasing their skills and abilities. Small and micro retailers will be trained so that they have the information and skills to better understand how customers behave and what they like.

Retailers will get the skills, tools, and techniques they need to succeed in the ever-changing retail ecosystem and to spread best practices. This will give traditional retailers the business skills they need to make their business more profitable and help them learn more about running a business.

It will teach skills that are specific to the retail business, like how to deal with customers, keep track of inventory and stock, handle finances, and more. These skills will be tailored to the needs of retailers, making them more skilled and knowledgeable. The 14 hours of training will include 12 hours of digital training and 2 hours of classroom training. There will be classroom sessions as well as online courses that can be accessed through an app-based Learning Management System (LMS) on phones and tablets.

Skill India Digital's (SID) platform will host the modules, and the training will be done using a multimedia method that includes both videos and text, with experienced teachers helping people learn. After finishing the classroom, online, and assessment courses, the participants will get a certificate.

NSDC will help Coca-Cola India make the programme more accessible to people in SID as part of the relationship. To do this, training content that fits the needs of the business must be made and improved. The NSDC will also help find teachers for the programme and make sure the learning process goes smoothly by setting up the right training facilities.

When Shri Ved Mani Tiwari, COO, NSDC, talked about this important milestone, he said that India's skill development ecosystem is going through a revolutionary change. This is because the government is dedicated to empowering the country's young people and ambitious workers by helping them learn new skills and improve old ones. Also, he said that the Academic Bank of Credit, a digital library of past learning experiences, will give the country's young people even more power under the direction and leadership of Shri Dharmendra Pradhan.

Sanket Ray, President of Coca-Cola India & Southwest Asia, talked about how his company is working to make the retailer environment, which is an important part of the business value chain, more valuable. He also said that giving stores important business and technology skills makes them more relevant to today's customers and gets them ready for the future. He praised the Skill India Mission's work to encourage new ideas and make industry-specific skills available to everyone.
