Microsoft India to Raise Business Software Prices by 6% from February 1st

Microsoft India has declared a 6 percent increase in pricing for its online and commercial on-premises applications. The pricing increases are valid for Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365. Beginning on February 1, the new prices will be in place. In India, Microsoft is set to raise prices for the third year in a row, following a notable uptake during the previous years.

The company informed its enterprise clients via email on December 6 that the purpose of the modifications to the Indian rupee price list is to harmonize the costs for online services and commercial software between India and the current USD pricing levels in the Asian region.

This move is the result of Microsoft's periodic evaluation of the effects of its local pricing for online services and software products to guarantee that there is a fair alignment across regions, the firm stated in the email.

the email states that starting on February 1, Microsoft.com would display the updated Indian rupee prices for direct sales to consumers in India for a limited number of online services, including Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365. However, existing business client purchases under volume licensing agreements for products that are "subject to price protection" will remain unaffected by these changes.
