Great news for India!
The Karnataka government and Google are working together to support local start-ups. Google has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (Mou) with Karnataka, the start-up capital of India.
All startup businesses will benefit the most from this. Through the use of digital skills, this collaboration will open up numerous opportunities.
Google will collaborate with female entrepreneurs and start-ups in tier 2 and tier 3 cities to provide a variety of services, including effective training, access to partners, knowledge of Google's tools and technology, knowledge and mentorships in the areas of clouds, user experience, android, leadership, and marketing.
A collaboration such as this is very beneficial to all startup companies and will boost the growth of the digital economy and new entrepreneurs.
The high education minister for IT, BT, science, and technology as well as skill development, C.N. Ashwath, has expressed his happiness by saying that this collaboration will support Karnataka's start-up hub by empowering new, young entrepreneurs and their original business ideas.
An international technology company based in the United States, Google specialises in e-commerce, cloud computing, computer software, artificial intelligence, and online advertising. The most powerful company in the world is led by Sundar Pichai, the Google CEO, an Indian-American business executive.
Google claims that while the start-up community in India is smart, hardworking, and prosperous, not all business owners have access to quick funding. They lack networking opportunities and mentorship as well. Because of this, Google and the Karnataka government will work together to support and foster opportunities for equality between men and women.
Following this Memorandum of Understanding (Mou) between Google and Karnataka, Google will offer a range of training, mentorship programmes, courses that are Google-certified, scholarships, to all start-ups in small towns and a google citizenship programme for school students.
Additionally, reports claim that Google will support creative start-up ideas across the state by imparting knowledge and expertise in tech methodology, business administration, and effective organisation. Also, some informative series will be launched under Android and cloud to teach how to monetize your skills.
Numerous new opportunities will result from this collaboration. It will also give all new start-up owners a significant boost and aid in their comprehension of the process and the start-up environment.
Google has made it a point to work with more female-founded start-ups, and it is prepared to offer all the necessary mentorship and training. Google is focusing on all the brilliant minds and providing their expertise by extending scholarships and launching the Be Internet Awesome Program, which is aimed at school students and young people.
It is safe to say that 2023 will bring a lot of fresh opportunities and startup businesses. The Karnataka government and Google's partnership will undoubtedly alter the startup landscape. Likewise, the Indian economy will benefit.
Let's applaud fresh ventures and innovative concepts!
