In Asia's 50 Best Restaurants, which was published by William Reed Business Media Ltd., three Indian restaurants were featured. Masque in Mumbai and Indian Accent in Delhi ranked 21st and 22nd, respectively, while Megu in New Delhi ranked 49th. Additionally, a new "best restaurant" category has been added to this year's edition. The most recent rundown, distributed on Walk 29, places Cave in Tokyo in the best position.
A panel of over 350 food writers, critics, restaurateurs, chefs, and food aficionados votes on the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants list. In 2013, the first list was released and this is the tenth list this year.
Masque
Established by gourmet expert Prateek Sadhu and chief Aditi Dugar, Masque spins around a tasting menu-just idea. It focuses on Indian ingredients that are in season and local. The report went on to say that Sadhu and Dugar wanted to change how Indian food is seen around the world. It explained why the restaurant was chosen to be on the list. In 2020, Sadhu left the restaurant.
"It is crafting new Indian flavors and dreaming of developing a strong legacy for the country's cuisine by putting the focus on indigenous ingredients and transforming traditional recipes into modern and elegant dishes," the statement states.
French lychee stuffed with mango-kimchi gel, gongura greens, and jicama, kholal with lamb neck or turnip, and moral shabdeg curry with a duck or lotus stem kebab are just some of the delicious options available.
Masque was included on the "One To Watch Award for Asia's 50 Best Restaurants in 2020" list four years after it opened.

Indian Accent
Chef Manish Mehrotra is the founder of Indian Accent. The country's cuisine is presented on the menu with a creative twist and uses global ingredients and methods.
Some popular options include squash curry with paneer and roast potato and pumpkin bitterballen with mustard and coconut. Also unique is the dessert menu, which includes options like basundi and soft baked chocolate with fresh berries.
"Indian Articulation never fails to impress with its triumphant combination of innovative contemporary dishes and friendly service. By incorporating international ingredients and techniques, chef Manish Mehrotra's inventive tasting menus add an international flavor to his country's cuisine season after season,” the report added.
Additionally, Indian Accent has a successful New York location.

Megu
Megu is a Japanese restaurant with an excellent sake menu that can be found on the ground floor of The Leela. The miso-grilled chicken with charred scallions, the sweet and tangy 24-hour braised pork belly, and the Scottish salmon steak with teriyaki sauce are among the items mentioned on the menu.
